Everyone has a photo album or a box with a bunch of unidentified photos that may never be identified. The two photos below were found in between the pages
of an 1872 edition of Historia de la Insurreccion de Lares by Jose Perez Moris which was owned by Abran
Brugman. Written on the prologue page is "Es propiedad de Antonio Cruz Rosas." I inherited the book, and the unidentified photos,
from Abran's daughter, Norma McDonald.
That's it. That's all I can write about these photos. Do any of the folks in these photos look familiar to you? If so,
contact me.
2/6/2009 UPDATE: The male wearing a hat & sunglasses is David Arroyo Chabrier son of Leocadio Arroyo Chabrier & Isabel Chabrier Brugman.
David was identified by Narciso Chabrier Caban who is a descendant of Narciso Chabrier Brugman. Thank you Siso!
Now-a-days digital cameras make it very easy to take dozens of images which result in dozens of unidentified images.
Take the time to identify your digital images. Add a text note file within a folder of images or if you have some spare
time, add the ID info to the summary section of the properites of the image. There are also programs like Photo Mechanic
that allow you to add metadata to batches of images.
However you do it, just do it, and you'll enrich the lives of future genealogists with your identified images.
