Michael Rodriguez was born to Damian Eugenio Rodriguez Hardouin and Susan Ploor at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA in 1963. Damian is a descendant of Francois Beauchamp Menier, Juan Zacarias Rodriguez, Eugenio Cuevas and Pedro Hardouin. Michael has lived in Wisconsin, Northern & Southern California, Oklahoma, Iowa and now resides in Seattle, Washington.

After graduating high school, Michael served six years in the U.S. Navy as a Fire Controlman/Weapons Systems Specialist. He completed his term in 1987 after which he worked for 2 years,at his father's company, Remco, a manufacturer of rock crushing machinery. Once Michael left his father's company, he enrolled in college and graduated Cum Laude, in 1994, from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. After college he began work at Rexworks, a manufacturer in grinders based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After working in service, he was promoted to Product Manager, then to Regional Sales Manager. In 1997 Rexworks was bought by CMI Corporation, a large company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Michael transferred with his family to Oklahoma to serve CMI as the General Manager of the Grinder Division. He has since gone on to work for the Cranes and Roadbuilding divisions after the purchase of CMI by Terex Corporation.

Michael has traveled the world extensively. His favorite hobby, when he has time, is fishing. In 1986 he married me, Kathy Dickson. I hold a bachelors degree from the University of California, Irvine in Biological Science and held a position as Clinical Research Associate at IBRD, now Phoenix International. 1995 brought the arrival of Zachary John and Joshua William. I am a stay at home mom and a swimming instructor as well as being the person responsible for the genealogical research in the family. When Zach and Josh were six months old I began researching my father's family, mostly Irish immigrants to the U.S. (Wisconsin) through Canada during the famine. In 1998, upon moving to Oklahoma City, I began researching Michael's families.

I am currently working on the Liddle and Ploor families in the U.S. of Michael's maternal line and the Rodriguez, Beauchamp, Hardouin, and Cuebas/Cuevas families of his paternal line. This is how we are connected!
